Current Board of Trustees
Megan Culp joined the board in 2012 and currently serves as President. She is now retired after working as a Guidance Counselor for the K-8 Hartland Elementary School for twenty years. Previously she served on the Dresden/Hanover School Board and was active in the Hanover League of Women Voters. She sings with the Feminine Tone chorus, serves on the Hartland Community Connections Board, is active in the Mt Ascutney Prevention Partnership in Windsor and volunteers at the Haven. She has been a mentor with Windsor County Partners for three years and assists the board with mentor recruitment. She has a BA from Lewis and Clark College and an MA from Plymouth State University. She lives in White River Junction, Vt.
Laura Page joined the board in 2009 and currently serves as Treasurer. She is retired from owning and operating a four-office real estate company in Connecticut for thirty years. Laura was named Small Business Person of the Year by the Connecticut Small Business Administration in 1989 and was President of the Shoreline Board of Realtors, serving on its board of directors for many years. She served on the Guilford Youth Mentoring Steering Committee and was an active member of its Recruitment Committee. As President for the Guilford Center for Children, she was instrumental in launching its after school program. Laura also served on five boards including Guilford’s Housing Partnership, Human Services Council and as President of the Library Board. Laura attended Wheaton College. She is a resident of West Windsor, Vt., where she resides with her husband, Richard Beatty.
John Bastille joined the board in October of 2013 and currently serves as secretary. He was born and raised in Peterborough, New Hampshire. He graduated from Keene State with a BA in Psychology and has more recently taken classes in business and computer science. John was a Big Brother in the 1970's for about 5 1/2 years and served on the agency’s steering committee for most of that time. He served on the board of Windsor County Mental Health which became Health Care and Rehabilitation Services of Southeast Vermont. For most of his working career, he was employed with Bryant Grinder Corporation and later with Vermed. Now retired, he lives in Springfield, Vermont with his wife of 44 years (and counting), Judy. They have two children and three grandchildren.
Donna LaFleur joined the board in March of 2015. She was the clinical director of the Upper Valley Youth Services for many years. Donna has served a leadership role on the Board of Directors for The National Organization of Social Workers (NASW), The Summer Day Camp in Hanover, NH and the Parent Advisory Council for Hartford High School. She currently is affiliated with the Women's Network of the Upper Valley. Now retired, she is a resident of Quechee, Vermont.
Margaret "Peggy" Kehew joined the board in April of 2015. She has a BS in Nursing and Counselor Education. She has been a registered nurse at the Windsor Schools and is currently working for Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Ascutney, VT. Peggy has been a volunteer coordinator for the ELF Program at the KC Heffernan School and a volunteer naturalist for Baltimore Woods in Marcellus, NY. She has served on the Carlisle Area Youth Services in Carlisle, PA and New Beginnings in Springfield VT. Peggy is currently affiliated with Clear Springs, which is a vocal organization with Bayada Hospice. She currently lives in Perkinsville, Vermont with her husband, James.
